Before the trip

Advance booking is advisable for all types of tickets, not later than 24 hour prior to a planned ferry departure, earlier booking is a guarantee of the availability of places. In the case of special offers advance booking is a prerequisite for benefiting from the offer.

The passenger making a booking is obliged to give names and surnames, dates of birth (the age is defined by the year of birth), the sex and the citizenship of the passengers at the moment of registering the booking.  Name and surname of the passenger being seen on the ticket must always be identical with the data of the passenger's ID.

The passenger ticket constitutes an evidence of the agreement between the passenger and the Carries for services purchased and paid by the passenger. The passengerticket (electronic) has s character of the digital notation in the computer sales and reservation system used by the Carrier. The passenger is obliged to pass the number of the ticket at the check-in on the ferry terminal.

The passenger ticket has a character of the personal ticket , which is entitling only a person to the transport of which personal details are shown on the ticket

D documents - passport, identity card (this requirement is also applying to children).

The owner of a car should hold, apart from a valid driving license and a registration license, a valid insurance and a Green Card as well as nationality marking of the car.

According to the European Union regulations, there is no obligation of possession of Green Card for European Union citizens.

Passengers and cars must check-in no later than 90 minutes before the scheduled departure of the ferry. Failure to meet this obligation may result in deleting passengers and vehicles from passenger and vehicle list.
Passengers traveling with electrically-powered vehicles must arrive for check-in at least 90 minutes before the ferry's departure. Arriving later than the specified time may result in the inability to board the ferry due to safety requirements regarding the transportation of electrically-powered vehicles.

Check-in closes:
- for foot passengers 30 minutes before departure;
- for motorists passengers 30 minutes before departure.

Yes, however carrying gasoil in canisters and other containers is forbidden as well as canisters with gas propane-butane or other dangerous materials. 

Pets may travel but certain conditions apply.
The passenger travelling with domestic animal is obliged to buy special cabin for hygiene and safety reasons on board. This passenger is responsible simultaneously for sanitary state of this cabin. In case of lack of such cabin on board the carriage of pets is not possible. The number of such cabins on board the ferries is limited. On daily departures on the Świnoujście - Ystad line, it is also allowed to transport pets without a special cabin by purchasing a seat for the passenger and a ticket for accompanying pets.

In public places, passenger travelling with dog, has a duty of keeping the dog on leash and in muzzle for safety reasons.

The passengers is obliged to make themselves acquainted with the veterinary regulations of the country of destination and to arrange all documents for importing live animals.

The Carrier can deny to carry domestic animals, if according to the assessment of the Carrier, domestic animal is regarded threatening the safety of passengers or the crew on board the ferry.  In such case the payment for domestic animal is subject to refund.

1. If booking was completed with providing the number of a credit card and payment authorization by the Operator of credit cards - the booking was completed and services purchased. If you have not printed out the ticket, you are asked to contact with our representatives: Sea Travel Offices or Ferry Terminals.

2. If booking wasn't completed with the payment , the booking wasn't recorded in the system - a new booking is necessary - try again on-line or make a reservation by telephone (see our sales network).

It is possible to change the date of trip not later than 24 hours before scheduled departure (date shown on the ticket) and if you wish to amend, please call for assistance to our Sea Travel Offices or contact Ferry Terminals .

Ferry services are sold only for defined date. Within the period of the ticket validity (within the period of 6 months from the date of its purchase), passengers holding tickets with a definite departure as well as return dates can change these dates but not later than 24 hours prior to the departure of a ferry, unless conditions of special offers are determining differently.

The change must be recorder in the computer system. Failure to inform about the change within the above specified period results in termination of the ticket validity without the possibility of cost refund.

A passenger is entitled to the refund of an unused ticket (or portion of the ticket ) provided the booking recorded in the computer system was cancelled (carriage and cabin booking) not later than 24 hours before the time of a ferry departure. Upon the refund 25 per cent of the ticket value is deducted as a cancellation fee. Later cancellation, or no cancellation, results in a ticket becoming invalid without the possibility of cost refund.

Ticket purchased on-line (after deducting a cancellation fee) may be refunded only for the credit card used for this on-line payment.
Request for cancellation/ticket refund should be in writting sent to : zwroty@polferries.pl , giving following data: name, surname, ticket number and telephone number.

Purchased tickets (after deducting a cancellation fee) may be refunded onto the bank account provided by the ticket owner.
Request for cancellation/ticket refund should be in writting sent to: zwroty@polferries.pl , giving following data: name, surname, ticket number, contact telephone number, the  name of the bank and number of the account for which the refund to be transferred and data of the owner of the account (name and surname, address or in the case ofa company - full style of the company with the address).
